The Challenge
Kenya faces multifaceted environmental and climate change challenges that impact the local ecosystems and the livelihoods of communities. These challenges arise from a combination of human activities and broader climate trends including – deforestation, land degradation, water scarcity, pollution, climate change impacts with increasing erratic weather patterns, biodiversity loss aggravating local community vulnerability particularly for smallholder farmers who depend on the land for their livelihoods.
Addressing these challenges requires a comprehensive approach that combines various sustainable environmental conservation practices.

Climate change is the most dire threat humanity has ever known. But solutions exist on the frontlines to save our planet. Young people have consistently been at the forefront of transformative change, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to the world's most pressing issues.
GN Life is committed to making a positive impact on the environment and promoting sustainability. We prioritize engaging young people, as they are often excluded from the climate change conversation and their perspectives are frequently overlooked in national and global policies. We create the space for young people to actively participate in environmental and climate change initiatives by involving young people in environmental conservation and climate change adaptation and mitigation activities through climate education programs, youth-led community environmental projects, advocacy, technology and innovation.
